Hi Folks, Well the rumour seems to be true, Tyros 3 is set to be the next keyboard from Yamaha. Tyros, Tyros 2 and now Tyros 3, has someone at Yamaha lost the will to name instruments or has someone cottoned on to the fact that the public seem to like the name Tyros? Either way there is another one on it's way and the spec that is flying around hardly seems like a massive upgrade on the previous model. For a start there is still only 5 octaves - when will Yamaha put out a larger keyboard version for the more advanced players out there. The only striking feature of this new keyboard seems to be drawbar sliders which looking back at instruments such as PSR 8000 with the roller wheels which allowed you the same control, this hardly seems a major cutting edge development. Motorised display is also rumoured and if this is the case then someone needs a good slap at Yamaha. What is the benefit of an electric tilting screen - have players become so lazy that they cannot adjust the screen manually when the money could have been spent on adding a further octave to the instrument and giving players something they wanted instead of another gimmick. I hope that the development team at Yamaha have put as much effort in re-writing those over used and predictable styles that have featured in Tyros 1 and 2 - and made Tyros 3 completely fresh and new otherwise it will be just another nifty marketing ploy to get you to part with your hard earned cash for a slightly re-sytled tyros 2. Whilst I was at the Blackpool festival I listened to a few Yamaha Tyros players and every single one sounded the same. Press into 3, play a melody with a backing, press ending 3 and you are done. Come on Yamaha give real musicians something they can get their teeth into and not another boring arranger keyboard. The specification on line so far seems to be as follows; • 61 keys with Toch Response and After Touch • 128-voice polyphony • 1312 Voices incl. 23 Mega Voices • 47 Super Articulation Voices and 5 Super Articulation 2 Voices • 450 Styles with 4 variations • 7 Slider for Real-[*****] Control e.g. for Drawbar-Organs • Great Graphic-Colour-Display for score, lyrics and text • Harddisk-Recorder: Play 2 Stereo Tracks / Rec 1 Stereo Track • Microphone connection and Vocal Harmony • USB 2.0 Technology: USB-to host and 2 x USB-to device • LAN-Port for Internet Direct Connection (IDC) • Video-Out and RGB-Port • Brand new Tone-Generation • NEW Live! Concert Grand Piano • NEW Mega Voices • NEW Super Articulation and Super Articulation2 Voices • NEW Sweet!, Cool! and Live! Voices • NEW Drumkits • More new styles • NEW DSP-Blocks for Styles • Enhanced Harddisc-Recorder • 9 Slider for Real-[*****]-Control • USB 2.0 Technology and LAN-Port Yamaha are doing a little 'Appetite Whetter' on the net, adding a piece to a jigsaw every couple of weeks of a picture of the new machine. If you click on a piece of the keyboard, you will hear a sample of some of the new sounds (instrument samples) in it. http://www.music-tyros.com/ I have talked to several people who have seen and heard it at Trade Exhibitions, and most gave similar reports. Its good - got some new sounds and facilities, but if you are happy with your investment of over 2,000 pounds in your current Tyros 2, with only a trade in price of 1,000 pounds, you will have to trade in your T2, and find another 1,500 pounds - Its not worth that for the few extra facilities, some new voices, and little tweaks to the T2 spec. No doubt many with money to burn, will (and have already!) pay their deposits, or jump in on day 1 - I would prefer to know what I was getting for my money (exactly, not rumours and hearsay) before buying one - even if I could afford it.!!! Pentru cei care nu stiu engleza, iata si traducerea ( e copy/paste, n-am mai avut timp de editare ...): Translation: English » Romanian Bună Oameni, Ei bine, zvonul pare a fi adevărat, Tyros 3 este setat pentru a fi alături de tastatură de la Yamaha. Tyros, Tyros 2 şi acum Tyros 3, are cineva de la Yamaha a pierdut numele pentru a va instrumente sau are pe cineva cottoned la faptul că pare să publice, cum ar fi numele Tyros? Fie nu există un alt mod o pe ea si e un fel de spec. că este greu de zbor din jurul pare ca un masiv de upgrade de pe modelul precedent. Pentru un început încă mai există doar 5 octaves - Yamaha, atunci când se va pune un mai mare tastatură Versiune pentru mai avansate jucatori acolo. Singura caracteristică izbitoare a acestei noi tastatură pare a fi drawbar sliders care caută înapoi la instrumente, cum ar fi PSR 8000 cu role roti care aţi permis acelaşi control, acest lucru pare greu de avangarda majore de dezvoltare. Automat de afişare este, de asemenea, rumoured şi, dacă este cazul, atunci cineva are nevoie de o bună slap la Yamaha. Haide Yamaha da ceva real, muzicieni pe care le pot obţine în dintii lor, şi nu un alt plictisitor arranger tastatură. Dacă faceţi clic pe o bucată de tastatură, vei auzi un eşantion de unele dintre noi sunete (instrument de probe) în el. LINK: Click aici ! Am vorbit cu mai multe persoane care au vazut si auzit-o la Comerţului Expozitii, şi a dat cele mai multe rapoarte similare. Ei bine - am unele noi sunete şi facilităţi, dar dacă sunt cu investiţii de peste 2000 de lire la actualul dvs Tyros 2, cu numai un comerţ în preţul de 1000 de lire, va trebui să vă T2 în comerţ, şi a găsi un alt 1500 lire - ei nu merita ca, pentru câteva facilităţi în plus, unele voci noi, iar anumite trucuri pentru T2 spec.. No Doubt multe cu banii sa arda, va (si, deja!) Să plătească depozitele lor, sau intri in pe zi 1 - Aş prefera să ştiu ce am fost primiţi bani pentru meu (exact, nu zvonuri şi hearsay) Inainte de a cumpara o -- chiar dacă aş putea permite.!!! asta este diferenta intre un calculator si om.. am sa scriu mai jos cu erori (deci nu gramaticale ci de tastare) si tot veti putea intelege... "can itru pe acets sait imi plae la nebuie sa faac tutriale de cubas si s aexplic elementede categore greu ale functillor MDI din Cbase " |

Tot din engleză am înţeles câte ceva...  P Referitor la "problema" thread-ului: mi se pare prea mult tam-tam pentru această clapă care vine cu puţine funcţii noi, funcţii care puteau fi adăugate cu un upgrade la soft. Părerea mea !

De accord cu tine Ionut, era mult mai simplu si bineinteles benefic pt utilizator, numai ca asta nu-l prea intereseaza pe producator si astfel scoate acceasi clapa, in alte vesminte cu putin adaosuri si bineinteles cu pret diferit. Asta e o mare diferenta intre Korg si Yamaha ( ma refer la procedeul de update), dar nu toti il vad!
