 Cablul MIDI-USB este folositor daca ai o clapa cu MIDI IN/OUT pentru a o conecta la PC. Poti astfel sa inregistrezi track-uri in Cubase spre exemplu sau poti sa canti cu tonuri stocate in PC.
Daca nu e clar ce spun, intra pe youtube si gasesti tutoriale ../../images/emotes/yahoo/yahoo_winking.gif

 MIDI = Musical Instruments Digital Interface

Prin midi se pot trimite sau primi informatii, fie intre clape, fie intre alte aparate (PC, Multitrack, etc).

Se pot trimite: ce note sa cante, cand sa cante, pe ce canal, cu ce ton (banca/program/patch), in ce performanta, cu cat si ce efect incarcat..
Sunt foarte multe utilizarile, pana la a sincroniza pe durata unui film a unei secvente midi.
Dezvoltarea sistemul midi este enorma in ultimii ani, din ce in ce, absolut tot ce poate face meniul unei clape, se poate controla prin midi.
Multe clape au acum, soft de control pe calcultor, care prin mesaje midi, transmite si primeste setari, poti lucra fara a apasa un buton, doar prin acel soft.
